คือผลงานที่เกิดจากความสนใจในศิลปะสถาปัตยกรรมของวัดในเชียงใหม่ ซึ่งมีความหลากหลายทั้งในแง่ของรูปทรงและการใช้งาน โดยเฉพาะในส่วนที่ได้รับอิทธิพลจากสถาปัตยกรรมล้านนาและการผสมผสานกับรูปแบบสถาปัตยกรรมภาคกลางในยุครัตนโกสินทร์ ภาพถ่ายในผลงานชุดนี้ได้บันทึกลักษณะเฉพาะขององค์ประกอบทางสถาปัตยกรรมที่มีความซับซ้อนและละเอียดอ่อน เช่น ลวดลายต่าง ๆ ในอุโบสถ วิหาร และเจดีย์

ข้าพเจ้าได้เลือกวัดในเชียงใหม่จำนวน 5 แห่งในการศึกษาผ่านภาพถ่าย ได้แก่ วัดศรีสุพรรณ วัดราชมณเฑียร วัดเชียงมั่น วัดพระสิงห์ และวัดสวนดอก ซึ่งแต่ละแห่งมีลักษณะเฉพาะที่สะท้อนถึงประวัติศาสตร์และพัฒนาการของสถาปัตยกรรมในภูมิภาคนี้ การศึกษาพื้นที่เหล่านี้ทำให้ข้าพเจ้าสามารถเห็นถึงความเชื่อมโยงระหว่างการออกแบบในแต่ละยุคสมัยและบทบาทของสถาปัตยกรรมที่เกี่ยวข้องกับประวัติศาสตร์ จารีตประเพณีและการดำรงชีวิตในชุมชนผ่านการนำเสนอผลงานในรูปแบบของภาพถ่าย ข้าพเจ้าต้องการเน้นถึงความงามและความซับซ้อนที่ซ่อนอยู่ในองค์ประกอบต่าง ๆ ของสถาปัตยกรรม ไม่ว่าจะเป็นรายละเอียดของลวดลายปูนปั้น หรือการจัดวางโครงสร้างที่มีความแข็งแรงและความสมดุลทางสุนทรียะ 

ข้าพเจ้าต้องการให้ภาพถ่ายสามารถสื่อสารถึงความงามในมิติที่ต่างออกไปจากการเห็นในชีวิตจริงโดยการใช้แสงและเงาเพื่อเพิ่มมิติให้กับรูปทรงและองค์ประกอบต่าง ๆ ที่จะช่วยให้ผู้ชมสามารถเข้าถึงความลึกซึ้งในงานศิลปะได้อย่างเต็มที่ ผลงานชุดนี้จึงเป็นการสื่อสารทางสายตาที่ต้องการกระตุ้นความสนใจในการมองเห็นสิ่งต่าง ๆ รอบตัวในมุมมองใหม่

SANCTUARY, the work is born from an interest in the architectural art of temples in Chiang Mai, which showcases diversity in both form and function. It focuses on elements influenced by Lanna architecture, combined with the architectural style of the Central Thai period during the Rattanakosin era. The photographs in this series document the unique characteristics of the architectural elements that are intricate and delicate, such as the various patterns found in the ordination SANCTUARY, chapels, and pagodas.

I selected five temples in Chiang Mai for my photographic study: Wat Sri Suphan, Wat Ratcha Montian, Wat Chiang Man, Wat Phra Singh, and Wat Suan Dok. Each of these temples reflects distinct features that reveal the history and development of architecture in the region. The study of these locations has allowed me to observe the connections between the architectural designs of different periods and the role that these structures play in the history, the tradition and the daily lives of the local community. Through presenting the work in the form of photographs, I aim to emphasize the beauty and complexity that lie within the architectural details, whether it is the intricacy of the stucco patterns or the structural arrangement that reflects strength and aesthetic balance.

I hope these photographs convey a sense of beauty from a perspective different from how we usually perceive these structures in real life. By using light and shadow to add depth to the forms and elements, to help the viewers access a deeper understanding of the artwork. This series, therefore, is a visual communication aimed at encouraging the audience to see the world around them from new viewpoint.
